ClickCategories to see the list of categories available for you. You will see the Add button. Each category can be edited if you are the owner or the collaborator, disabled or viewed.
Adding a new category
Click Add to add a new contact category.
The following are mandatory:
- Title: enter a category name.
The following are optional:
- Description: Provide some user-friendly information for the category.
- Picture: An icon showing where we display the categories for the contacts (for example, the widget). We recommend uploading a square image with a transparent background.
- Visibility: leaving this empty is allowed, but it will restrict access only to you. Enter the users, organizations (branches or locations), or teams here.
- Widgets: Click this to add contacts from this category to be added to the dashboard Important Contacts widget.
Once done, click Save.
ClickGo Back to see the list of categories if it saves successfully.
Editing a category
Click the three vertical dots on the category you wish to edit, then click Edit.
Make the necessary changes (refer toAdding a new category for more information) and click Save.
Deleting a category
Note: Once deleted, you cannot restore the category. Please exercise caution when performing this operation.
Click the three vertical dots on the category you wish to delete, then click Delete.
ClickConfirm in the modal dialog.
The listing page will refresh and display the active ones now.
